I'm back - then and now

Now that summer is over, I feel ready to get back into the habit of keeping my blog up.

Before we were married, I admit I was on edge. I sometimes doubted out loud whether we should get married, especially if things were not going my way. To David's credit, he never took me seriously. We were quite fortunate that I could work from home planning our wedding for a year. I even paid David rent money until we married, which was help toward paying off our mortgage in full. I always believed God provides, and although I endured a horrible MVA - the settlement money paid for every last item we needed for the wedding. I'm glad that we lived together as we planned the wedding so that the stress of the adjustment of living together was over long before the actual ceremony. We hoped to start our family right away, and yet 15 months later - we are still not ready for that step. We might have to end up adopting if we decide it's that important.

David always said that he'd take care of me as his wife, and he certainly has. You will not want for anything he promised. Fortunately for him, I do not have the "want want want" syndrome - where one always wants more. I am happy with what we have. We are slowly adding our personality to our home, and always planning with a family in mind.

What a happy post. It sounds as if you have a wonderful relationship. It is such a blessing to have a such a great spouse! This was about the time that we were thinking we might have to adopt. After the testing and a few months I found out I was going to have Joshua. Maker sure you take the time to enjoy each other.
