What a wonderful thing is the mail, capable of conveying across continents a warm human hand-clasp. ~Author UnknownI altered this photo using Virtual Photographer. Thanks to everyone who congratulated me on getting my RebelXT ordered. I decided to just go with the one lens for now, and wait on the 50 mm lens. This is my first SLR and seeing as there is no rebate on the latter, there is no rush. I did order yesterday the book: Rebel Digital Field Guide.

nice shot. I grew up near Rochester... in Canandaigua. Lived there until I was 11. Then moved back to VA! I miss the snow! =(
