It's the end of March already. How did this happen? It seemed like yesterday it was the end of February. A lot of new things are going on here.

1. I was asked to join the team at Creating Inspirations.
I haven't made a big hoopla about it because I wanted to be able to share my work with their kits. The beginning of each month the DT shares their layouts so come back tomorrow to see what I've been up to.

So I have to share a little story. Beth Root, owner of CI, contacted me while I was on vacation in California and asked me to join her team. It's a big compliment when something like that happens out of the blue. I've been turning away offers for Design Teams because I was feeling overwhelmed with commitments. However, I was willing to consider her offer because I met Beth at Memory Trends, and have known her online for several years. Then I looked at who else is on the Design Team, and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity - not to mention Beth's kits rock my world! The Design Team at CI includes Cheryl Mezzetti, Deanna Kroll, Jamie Harper (CK HOF 2007), Holly Pitroff, Kimber McGray (CK HOF 2007), Raechelle Bellus, Roxanne Jegodtka, Sarah McNoughton, Sri Sams, Summer Fullerton (CK HOF 2007), and Sonda Tadlock, Beth Root and now me!

Also I'm teaching an online class for FREE to all who purchase the April Member's Kit (see above) at Creating Inspirations and Beth has opened up membership so now is the time to get it! Class details coming soon.

Plus! Marah Johnson will be the Guest Artist at CI and will be having an online chat for anyone to attend.

Ok - here is what is in the April Member's Kit:
3) Mara's Bliss Line paper collection
1) Marah's Muse Transparency
1) Marah's Bliss line Swatch rub on book
2) Marah's NEW little pewter Dove and Winged heart Brads

6) Prima's Stone Rose Flower Collection of Large Florals

2. Another new venture for me is that I've joined the team at Scrapquick. All will be revealed next week!

Watch for the wide release of the exciting
ScrapQuickArtTM, ScrapQuickClicksTM and ScrapQuick à la CarteTM product lines.

You'll never scrap the same way again.

3. I received a promotion at Scrapbook Dimensions magazine. I couldn't be more honored and delighted to get more fully involved. What to know what position I've taken? You'll have to see our April/May issue!!!! (Hopefully it will ship out by the end of next week!)

4. I decided to offer my services to teach at Writers and Books as I mentioned the other day. It will be a four-class workshop and the class dates will be July 25, August 1, August 15, and August 29. When registration opens I will post it here on my blog. Here is the class description:

What Matters Most: Scrapbook Journaling
Curious about scrapbooking or are you already an enthusiast? You
are joining in on the most popular hobby in America today with 1 in 3
households boasting a scrapbooker. By it's very nature,
scrapbooking makes people better and communities stronger. Join us as we make
art, learn about who we are and who and what we can become as we
focus on scrapbook journaling for beginners and all levels of scrappers.

You will take this journey with Julie Ann Shahin, professional
freelance scrapbook artist and Creative Editor of a national
scrapbooking magazine, as the class explores various scrapbook
journaling techniques in this workshop. There is a fee for an optional kit
that includes a paper-crafting kit which will be used to create a mini-album
about what matters most to you and your family. The class-time will be
used for journaling and sharing our journaling while the pages will be
made at home and brought to class to share. All instructions for
making the mini-album will be provided as well as email support.

So, yes, I've been very busy and very happy. Feeling good. Life is good.
