Being playful with Self-Portraits

While DH has vowed to be sure I get in more of the pictures this year, being that I am the photographer, I want to learn more about self-portraits too. I love seeing the Self-Portrait Tuesday submissions. The theme at Self-Portrait Tuesday is to capture yourself in a way that is not necessarily flattering. For instance, a photo of you sitting in a pile of laundry, or in your grungiest outfit. So I made some funny faces as practice for the February challenge. Yeah, not so flattering....no makeup, hair pulled back, I didn't even try to set up my camera on a tripod - here I am just holding the camera at arm's length. I can't say that this is a face that I make often, perhaps I've never made it before in my whole life but it is a face. LOL. Thanks for looking. Have a marvelous Wednesday.

I did a self portrait a few days ago. (in my blog), but I always hate my pics, so I end up hiding behind something. (like a starbucks cup, or a camera, etc) lol. Cute pic!
